Manufacturing Process and Market Trends:

Manufacturing begins with selecting low-carbon alloy steel or austenitic stainless steel as cryogenic base materials. These materials are then forged to obtain a dense metal flow line and a high-strength valve body. Subsequent heat treatments, such as normalizing and tempering, refine the grain size. After rough machining, the valves undergo deep cryogenic treatment in liquid nitrogen or similar media to eliminate residual stress and stabilize dimensions. Finishing involves hard alloy overlay welding on the sealing surfaces and precision grinding. Before assembly, parts must be thoroughly degreased and cleaned. After final assembly, the valves undergo sequential testing for room temperature strength, sealing, and cryogenic airtightness. Some models also require helium mass spectrometry leak detection and cryogenic shock testing to verify reliability.

Driven by the storage and transportation of clean energy such as liquefied natural gas and liquid hydrogen, as well as the expansion of air separation units, the market demand focuses on high sealing and ultra-low temperature adaptability. The industry is promoting domestic substitution to break the high-end monopoly, and products are being upgraded to lightweight structures, low-emission packings, and intelligent valves with condition monitoring.
