A black body is an ideal object that does not really exist in nature. Physicist Kirchhoff proposed that an object that can absorb all radiation of all wavelengths at any temperature is called an absolute black body, and the radiation of an absolute black body is called black body radiation. At any temperature, the blackbody's absorption ratio is 1, it has neither reflection nor transmission, and it is an object that absorbs all incident radiation of any wavelength. This blackbody theory provides a basic method for the development of artificial blackbodies, creating a model close to a blackbody, a cavity with a relatively high internal surface absorption, and a small hole on the wall of the cavity. As long as the size of the small hole is small enough compared with the cavity, the radiant energy entering the cavity from the small hole will be almost completely absorbed after multiple absorption and reflections by the cavity wall, which is equivalent to the absorption ratio of the small hole being close to 1 , that is, close to a black body. The radiation emitted from the small hole is approximately blackbody radiation, and the open cavity is the 'blackbody radiation source'.
