A high pressure adsorption instrument is an experimental device used to study the adsorption between gases and solids. It usually consists of a high-pressure gas storage tank, a sample chamber and a detection device. In the experiment, the sample is placed in the sample chamber, which is usually a closed container. High-pressure gas is injected into the tank through a pipe and then pressurized to a specific pressure. This pressure is usually very high and can reach tens of atmospheres. When the pressurized gas flows through the sample, it will adsorb with the sample surface, thereby 'adsorbing'part of the gas onto the sample surface. Using the curve of the adsorption amount changing with the gas pressure or sample temperature, information about the interaction between gas and solid, such as adsorption isotherm, adsorption heat, etc., can be obtained.
