Downstream customers include: State Power Investment Corporation, Huaneng Group, and CGN; Sinopec, CNPC, and Wanhua Chemical; Tsingtao Brewery, Yili Group, and Coca-Cola; Hengrui Medicine, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical, and Pfizer.A tray-type deaerator, also known as a cascade deaerator, features a vertical domed deaeration section mounted on top of a horizontal cylindrical vessel that serves as the deaerated boiler feedwater storage tank. A typical tray-type deaerator consists of a vertical domed deaeration section mounted above a horizontal boiler feedwater storage tank. Boiler feedwater enters the vertical deaeration section above the perforated trays and flows downward through the perforations. Low-pressure deaerated steam enters from below the perforated trays and flows upward through the perforations. Some designs utilize various types of packed beds instead of perforated trays to ensure good contact and mixing between the steam and boiler feedwater. The steam removes dissolved gases from the boiler feedwater and is discharged through a vent valve at the top of the domed section. The deaerated water flows into a horizontal storage tank and is then pumped to the steam boiler system. Low-pressure heating steam enters the horizontal storage tank through a spray pipe at the bottom of the tank to maintain the stored boiler feedwater temperature. Tray-type deaerators have a large capacity and are therefore quite large in size. They are often used with large industrial watertube boilers.To operate effectively at full load, spray deaerators require an inlet water temperature increase of at least 30?C (50?F). Furthermore, the deaeration efficiency of spray units decreases significantly as load decreases, as the heating steam demand is insufficient to maintain high steam flow rates below 25% of the design rating. Tray deaerators utilize a different principle for gas release compared to spray deaerators. They still require a large water surface area to provide ample opportunity for dissolved gas release. This is achieved by flowing water from one tray to the next, exposing as much surface area as possible to the scrubbing action of the steam. Tray deaerators are designed with up to 24 trays to provide sufficient surface exposure. This design ensures that the same amount of water surface is exposed to the steam for gas release, regardless of the inlet water temperature. Furthermore, as operating load decreases below the design maximum, the surface-to-water flow ratio increases, resulting in a thinner gas release film. This ensures effective deaeration under all inlet water temperature and flow conditions.One of the primary growth drivers in the deaerator system market is the rapid expansion of the power generation industry.
