Large cylindrical steel cases are mainly used in 46 series, 4680, and 4695 large cylindrical power batteries; small cylindrical steel cases are mainly used in 18, 21, 26, and 32 series cylindrical batteries, covering power tools, consumer electronics, small power batteries, and some energy storage applications; button steel cases are mainly used in TWS (True Wireless Stereo), smart wearables, and micro batteries. Compared to aluminum casings and aluminum-plastic composite films, steel casings offer higher mechanical strength, dimensional consistency, and impact resistance, but require more stringent requirements for deep drawing, wall thickness control, nickel plating quality, thermal diffusion performance, and cleanliness.
