It is commonly used in scenarios requiring small-batch processing of diverse or large parts, such as automotive repair parts, complex sheet metal and structural parts, small-batch high-value aerospace parts, ship piping, art metals, and engineering prototypes.Upstream suppliers are mainly laser light sources (IPG Photonics, nLIGHT, Raycus, etc.), industrial robot manufacturers (ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Yaskawa), high-precision servo/encoders and controllers (Siemens, Beckhoff), and optical transmission and cutting head manufacturers; the midstream is composed of system integrators/machine tool manufacturers who integrate these components into units or complete lines (represented by TRUMPF's robotic solutions, Bystronic's integrated solutions, Hans Laser and other domestic integrators and many regional system integrators); downstream are end users such as automobiles and auto parts, aerospace, shipbuilding and heavy industry, engineering structures and metal furniture manufacturing, sheet metal processing and contract manufacturing, art and custom metal processing.
