This product is typically composed of pressure sensing elements such as Bourdon tubes, diaphragms, capsules, or pressure sensors, along with mechanical pointers or digital display units, cases, process connections, resistance transmitters, angle encoders, signal conditioning circuits, and output interfaces. It can convert the pressure of the measured medium into resistance signals, 4?20 mA current signals, 0?10 V voltage signals, RS485, or other communication signals, and transmit them to secondary instruments, control cabinets, PLCs, data acquisition systems, or remote monitoring platforms. Its typical applications include water supply pump stations, fire booster systems, boilers and heating systems, air compressors, hydraulic stations, lubrication systems, industrial pipelines, chemical processes, sanitary food and pharmaceutical processes, and semiconductor ultra-pure processes. Major customers include instrument package suppliers, pump and valve equipment manufacturers, process industry users, utility operation and maintenance organizations, automation system integrators, and equipment maintenance service providers.

The industrial value of remote transmission pressure gauges is expanding from traditional pressure reading devices into low-cost connection nodes between industrial field sites and control systems. Conventional mechanical pressure gauges offer simple structure, intuitive reading, no external power requirement, and easy maintenance, but in unattended pump stations, centralized boiler rooms, continuous chemical processes, and remote equipment operation and maintenance, local reading alone cannot meet the needs of data acquisition, alarm interlocking, and trend analysis. Ordinary pressure transmitters can output standard signals, but they lack intuitive local indication and still require auxiliary instruments during inspection, calibration, troubleshooting, and power failure conditions. By integrating a mechanical pressure measuring element or pressure sensor, pointer or digital display, electrical signal output, and process connection into one device, remote transmission pressure gauges allow the same measuring point to serve both field operators and automation control systems. This structure reduces duplicated measuring points, lowers installation space requirements, and preserves existing gauge reading habits during equipment upgrades.

The product technology route is developing through the parallel evolution of mechanical remote transmission, electronic remote transmission, and specialized process remote transmission. Resistance remote transmission pressure gauges use sliding resistance or potentiometer transmitters to convert mechanical displacement into electrical values, making them suitable for traditional secondary instruments and constant pressure water supply control systems, with low cost, mature structure, and easy maintenance and replacement. Mechanical pressure gauges with output signals add non-contact angle encoders or electronic signal processing units to Bourdon tube or diaphragm pressure gauges, enabling standard outputs such as 4 to 20 mA while retaining mechanical pointer indication, which is suitable for process industries with higher safety and reliability requirements. Digital remote transmission pressure gauges are built around pressure sensors, microprocessors, and digital displays, enabling unit switching, zero calibration, peak value recording, communication output, and parameter setting, making them suitable for automation systems, equipment packages, and data acquisition. Sanitary diaphragm, differential pressure, low-pressure, high-pressure, and vibration-resistant remote transmission products address more specific operating conditions through differences in wetted materials, diaphragm structure, protection rating, pressure range, and output protocol.

From a regional perspective, remote transmission pressure gauges are mature but still upgrade-driven products within the global industrial instrumentation system. European, American, and Japanese companies have accumulated deep expertise in process instrumentation, high-reliability pressure measurement, sanitary processes, and safety standards, with products emphasizing standard compliance, stability, range coverage, and system compatibility.
