Lead-acid batteries for electric vehicles are secondary batteries that use lead and lead oxides as electrodes and dilute sulfuric acid solution as electrolyte. Downstream applications focus on low-speed electric vehicles, mobility scooters, selected logistics vehicles, specialty electric vehicles, and auxiliary power systems in electric cars.
