Cryogenic Helium Recovery Systems are integrated systems that use deep-cryogenic refrigeration and low-temperature distillation/condensation to recover, purify, and reliquefy or recompress helium from natural-gas streams, industrial off-gas, or exhaust helium from research equipment. A typical unit comprises a recovery header and piping network, compression and gas pre-treatment (removal of water, oil, and contaminants), cryogenic heat exchangers, expanders and cold box, cryogenic separation columns/condensers, liquid-helium storage, plus helium purification and control/safety subsystems.
