Through steel or nickel-plated steel casing, stacked electrode assemblies, precision laser welding, sealed electrolyte filling, micro-hole filling, and high-accuracy sealing, these batteries improve internal space utilization, structural strength, heat dissipation, and safety.

Compared with conventional aluminum-laminated pouch batteries, consumer steel-case batteries are not merely a replacement of the casing material, but a structural upgrade of premium consumer batteries. Their core value lies in enhancing capacity, cycle life, safety margin, and removability within limited device volume, meeting the requirements of thinner, highly integrated, and longer-lasting smart terminals. This scope excludes automotive power batteries, energy storage batteries, power tool batteries, electric two-wheeler batteries, and large cylindrical power steel-case batteries. In 2025, global shipments of consumer steel-case batteries are estimated at approximately 1 million units, with an average price of about USD 4.5 per unit and a gross margin of approximately 20%-35%.
