The value chain of air filters for gas turbines includes upstream suppliers of glass fiber media, synthetic fibers, meltblown materials, nanofiber coatings, filter paper, metal mesh, sealants, filter frames, flame-retardant materials, sensors and differential pressure monitoring components. Filtration efficiency, dust-holding capacity, hydrophobic performance, fire resistance and low pressure-drop design largely determine filter lifetime and operating economics.
