It has better performance advantages than ordinary silicon steel sheet core transformer. 3D wound core is a newly proposed core structure, which is used for construction of distribution transformers. 3D wound core limbs are in symmetrical delta shape (symmetrical 3 phase magnetic circuit) resulting in optimized magnetic flux distribution.
