International Accounting Standard 17 provides complete guidelines about leasing contracts and treatment of various leasing agreements. The accounting treatment for Lessee and Leaser is different in IAS 17. According to IAS 17, two main kinds of leasing contracts are used and these are financial lease and operating lease.
