mRNA has a large molecular weight and strong hydrophilicity, but its single stranded structure makes it extremely unstable and easily degraded. It carries a negative charge and is difficult to deliver through cell membranes with negative charges on the surface. Therefore, special modification or encapsulation delivery systems are required to achieve intracellular expression of mRNA. Delivery technology is the core patented technology of mRNA companies. In addition, there are cationic lipid complexes (LPX), lipid polymer complexes (LPP) Polymer nanoparticles (PNP), inorganic nanoparticles (INP), cationic nanoemulsions (CNE), as well as the GalNac N-acetylgalactosamine technology independently developed by Ruibo Biotechnology, can be used for targeted delivery to the liver.
