A SiC MOSFET gate driver is the drive stage that converts a low-power control signal (PWM/logic) into the gate voltage and peak gate current required to switch a silicon-carbide MOSFET fast and safely. Automotive-grade isolated gate drivers explicitly target EV/HEV traction inverters and power modules, while similar architectures are used in fast chargers, renewable-energy inverters, and industrial drives where high power density and robust protection are critical.
