The main value focus lies in immersive multi display experiences, real time voice and generative AI interaction, integration of DMS and OMS with surround view, and the underlying compute and platform capability required for the continuous evolution of the software defined vehicle.

The industry logic of automotive cockpit SoCs is shifting from in vehicle entertainment chips to the in cabin computing foundation of the software defined vehicle era. In the past, cockpit electronics were centered mainly on a single center screen or cluster, and product value was largely reflected in audio video decoding and basic graphics processing. Samsung has publicly stated 23.1 TOPS and up to six displays, UNISOC has disclosed up to 8 TOPS, six screen outputs and twelve camera inputs, AutoChips has disclosed support for up to seven in vehicle displays, while Socionext continues to hold an advantage in display centric scenarios such as digital clusters and central HMI. NVIDIA and Intel, meanwhile, are raising the bar further toward cockpit driving convergence and centralized automotive computing. As a result, the future market will not simply divide into high end and low end. It is more likely to form several coexisting layers, including display control oriented chips, mainstream integrated cockpit chips, cockpit parking expansion chips, and centralized computing fusion chips. As generative AI and in cabin large model interaction gradually move into production, the software ecosystem value of platform SoCs will continue to grow.

From a regional and policy perspective, the medium and long term outlook for automotive cockpit SoCs remains favorable. On the supply side, the market has already formed a multi region competitive pattern led by North America, Japan, South Korea, mainland China, Taiwan, and a limited European presence.
