Anti-sulfur resistors improve the anti-sulfurization rating (e.g., meeting EIA-977, AEC-Q200 standards) by using gold-based or high-palladium-silver alloy internal electrodes, improving the nickel/tin external electrode structure, and optimizing the ceramic substrate, protective glass, and packaging process, while maintaining the size, power, and electrical properties of conventional chip resistors. They are widely used in automotive electronics, industrial control, servers and communication base stations, power meters, and other applications where long-term reliability is critical and sulfides are present in the environment.From the perspective of the industry chain, the upstream of anti-sulfur resistors mainly includes ceramic matrix materials (alumina, etc.), thick film/thin film resistor pastes and terminal electrode metal pastes (such as high palladium silver, gold-based alloys), nickel/tin electroplating materials, and protective glass glazes.
