Temperature rise doors are safety doors specifically designed to prevent the spread of fire. They are made of fire-resistant materials such as steel, fire-resistant glass, and gypsum board, and are equipped with fire-resistant sealing strips and fire-resistant hardware. Their main function is to isolate the fire source and block the spread of smoke and heat during a fire, giving people more time to evacuate. Temperature rise doors are classified into different fire resistance ratings (e.g., 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes, etc.) and are widely installed in critical locations such as stairwells, evacuation routes, machine rooms, and storage areas, forming an important component of building fire protection systems. Standardized design, correct installation, and regular maintenance are fundamental to the fire-resistant performance of fire doors. With the continuous improvement of safety standards in the construction industry and the strict implementation of fire protection regulations in various countries, the market demand for fire doors continues to grow. Aluminum is mainly used as a door frame, panel, decorative edging, and matching material for fire-resistant glass. Its characteristics are light weight, corrosion resistance, and good workability. Its high-temperature load-bearing capacity is lower than that of steel, and it is more often used in aluminum alloy fire-resistant glass doors and fire-resistant partition systems with high requirements for aesthetics and lightweighting. Common core/filling systems for fire doors include non-combustible or flame-retardant materials such as gypsum-based, mineral wool/rock wool-based, and calcium silicate board/cement composite materials. Sealing materials are key functional materials; currently, the main expanding materials used for fire door sealing include hydrated sodium silicate, expanded graphite, and monoammonium phosphate (MAP). Different materials have different initial expansion temperatures, expansion ratios, pressure resistance methods, and application locations. If the fire door has a viewing window or uses a glass door solution, fire-resistant glass is the most specialized upstream component. Gross profit margins range from 20% to 45%.
