Production primarily involves the addition reaction of these two compounds, and raw material costs are highly susceptible to fluctuations in the phosphate rock processing chain and the petrochemical industry. Downstream applications are widespread but face regulatory challenges, mainly in polyurethane flexible/rigid foams and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
