Lithium-ion Battery Separator Coating Dispersant is a functional additive used in separator coating slurry for lithium-ion battery. Its core function is to uniformly disperse coating particle such as alumina, boehmite and PVDF in water-based or organic solvent-based systems, preventing particle agglomeration, sedimentation and slurry separation. Simply put, it is not the separator itself, nor is it ceramic powder or binder; rather, it is an additive that helps separator coating slurry achieve better dispersion and more stable coating performance. The use of this product can improve slurry fluidity, storage stability and coating consistency, enabling ceramic coating or polymer coating to be more uniformly applied onto the base film surface, thereby improving separator heat resistance, dimensional stability, wettability and battery safety.

Its upstream raw material mainly includes acrylic polymer, polyether polymer, block copolymer, surfactant, functional monomer, solvent, auxiliary additive and other raw material required for emulsion polymerization or dispersion processing. Downstream, it is mainly used in separator coating processes for power battery, energy storage battery and consumer battery, specifically for dispersing ceramic particle, polymer particle and composite coating slurry, helping separator manufacturers improve coating quality, reduce slurry processing difficulty, and meet the manufacturing requirements of high-safety and high-consistency battery.
