Downstream, die steel powders are used in powder-metallurgy consolidation (e.g., HIP routes for high-cleanliness tooling stock), MIM for small complex parts (MIM typically prefers mean particle sizes below ~20 ?m for sintering), and additive manufacturing for mould inserts/cores with conformal cooling, as well as repair and refurbishment.
