Binary Ti-Al Alloys are a class of titanium aluminide alloys composed primarily of titanium (Ti) and aluminum (Al), with little to no addition of other alloying elements.Binary Ti-Al Alloys have excellent strength and low density, making them attractive for lightweight designs. Research and development efforts are currently focused on improving the strength and durability of Binary Ti-Al Alloys to meet the ever-increasing requirements for high performance and lightweighting.
