Key upstream inputs include plasmid or linear DNA templates, natural and modified nucleoside triphosphates, T7 or SP6 RNA polymerases, capping enzymes, poly(A) polymerase, DNase, phosphatases, cap analogs, buffers, chromatography media, affinity resins, ultrafiltration membranes, single-use reaction assemblies, sterile filters and low-binding containers. Major downstream customers include pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, vaccine developers, gene-editing and cell-therapy companies, diagnostic developers, universities, research institutes and contract research organizations.
