CooperVision, Inc.

CVI develops, manufactures, and markets a range of contact lenses for the worldwide vision correction market. CVI is a manufacturer of toric lenses, which correct astigmatism, multifocal lenses for presbyopia (blurring near vision due to advancing age), and spherical lenses that correct the most common visual defects. CVI’s products are primarily manufactured at its facilities located in the United Kingdom, Puerto Rico, and New York. CVI markets and serves in three primary regions: the Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and Asia Pacific.

CVI offers spherical, aspherical, toric, multifocal, and toric multifocal lens products in primary modalities. The company also offers a monthly silicone hydrogel toric lens, under the Biofinity label. In 2010, the company launched two silicone hydrogel lenses: the Biofinity multifocal lens and the Avaira toric lens.

CooperSurgical, Inc.

CSI develops, manufactures, and markets medical devices, diagnostic products and surgical instruments and accessories used primarily by gynecologists and obstetricians. License Agreement

The company’s license agreement is between CooperVision, CIBA Vision AG, and CIBA Vision Corporation. This license relates to patents covering CVI’s silicone hydrogel contact lens products, Biofinity and Avaira.

Marketing and Distribution
