Major downstream customers include plastics compounding and extrusion, masterbatch and additive dosing, food and feed micro-ingredient formulation, pharmaceutical continuous manufacturing, fine chemicals, functional powders, and laboratory or pilot-scale production lines. On an ex-factory equipment basis, global design capacity in 2025 is estimated at about 32,000 units, with sales of around 23,100 units, an average ex-factory price of about USD 10,800 per unit and an industry gross margin of roughly 32%–48%; standard Asian models are generally lower-priced, while high-accuracy, hygienic, pharmaceutical-grade and multi-component integrated systems from Europe, the U.S. and Japan command higher prices and margins.
