Nanopore sequencing is used in the sequencing of biopolymers such as polynucleotides in the form of DNA or RNA and other components. In addition, nanopore sequencing is a technology that enables analysis of single molecule DNA or RNA that can be sequenced without the need for polymerase chain reaction amplification or chemical labeling of the sample.
