Hollow microneedles are similar to micron-sized injection needles and have the dual characteristics of injection and transdermal drug delivery. This method of drug delivery usually uses external pressure to make the drug solution pass through the holes of the hollow microneedle, thereby reaching the designated location in the skin, and ultimately achieves the purpose of drug delivery.
