Millimeter wave radar chip refers to a highly integrated RF and mixed signal chip designed for radar systems, operating in the millimeter wave frequency band. It typically covers frequency bands such as 24GHz, 60GHz, and 76GHz. The chip usually integrates key modules such as RF front-end, phase-locked loop and frequency synthesis, baseband and filtering, and analog-to-digital converter for transmitting and receiving ends. It is used to obtain distance, velocity, and angle information for FMCW and other radar systems. The demand for millimeter wave radar chips is highly concentrated on in vehicle ADAS and autonomous driving radar.
