IoT Laser sensors, also called laser triangulation sensors, are an IoT non-contact sensor technology that uses the triangulation of a reflected light beam to establish movement or position of a target across a measurement range. A semiconductor laser generates a light beam that is sent through a transmitting lens towards the target.
