The companys Property and Marine operating segment includes principally property (including crop) and marine coverages that are written in the United States and select international markets. This business includes property catastrophe excess-of-loss reinsurance contracts, property per-risk excess-of-loss reinsurance contracts and property proportional reinsurance contracts.
