It is generally based on high-purity LDPE or PE resin, peroxide crosslinking agents, antioxidants, stabilizers and processing aids, with strict clean compounding, fine filtration, clean packaging and controlled logistics to minimize particles, gels, scorch particles and metallic contamination. Upstream inputs include high-purity polyethylene resin, peroxide, antioxidants, clean compounding equipment, online defect inspection systems and contamination-control packaging. Downstream applications include EHV AC land cables, urban underground transmission, inter-regional grid links, backbone transmission networks, submarine cables, offshore wind export cables and selected HVDC cable systems.
