Upstream raw materials include corn syrup, tapioca starch, bagasse fiber, vegetable oils, biodegradable resins, and additives, mainly supplied by biomaterials companies and agricultural product processing plants. Downstream customers include food companies, takeout platforms, retailers, e-commerce logistics companies, and medical packaging processing plants. Current global total production capacity is approximately 2.1 million tons per year, with an average industry gross profit margin of approximately 18-25%. In terms of demand and business opportunities, the expansion of global plastic bans, increased carbon emission pressure, and the accelerated replacement of traditional plastics in food and e-commerce packaging are driving a rapid increase in the penetration rate of plant-based materials.
