This study was compiled by STOCHASIS Management Consultancy S.A. and aims to reflect the current state of the Water Resources Management Cycle in Greece and to examine its prospects, while presenting information on the international market.
More specifically, the first three chapters of the study feature information on the Management of Water Resources, which refer to general characteristics, the institutional framework and the way that it operates in Greece. In the fourth chapter of the study, using data from the international experience to highlight development opportunities and improvement areas, a review of the water management schemes in some of the main EU countries, as well as of the major private management service providers, is made.
