Leadership Styles and Characteristics
Zain Telecom is the leading company of the telecom sector of the Kuwait with the highest market share of 37%. Americana Food Company Kuwait is also a Kuwaiti company involved in provision of food and beverages to the customers in the country. Leadership is the means of leading the followers or workers with the proper guideline so that they achieve their goals efficiently and effectively. In the current business world, the business tactics are changed and now there is more than one leader in the company. The managers in the company now play the role of leader for the workers for leading their teams towards the specific goal for the high performance of the company. There are different styles of the leadership and the companies adopt the leadership style depending on the nature of the business, complexity of the tasks, time period available, culture of the company etc as all such elements guide the company to select the suitable leadership style. The senior management of the company makes policies and takes decisions acting as the leading group of the management (Nanjundeswaraswamy, 2015). In this report we aimed at discussing the leadership style of the selected companies as Zain Telecom and the Americana Food Company Kuwait, characteristics of the leadership and the personality leadership with workers.
