On May 2019, SMART CANNABIS INC announced the securing of a contract for expansion on the cannabis cultivation site in Yolo County, California. The company’s primary subsidiary, Next Generation Farming, retrofitted 8 greenhouses recently and installed the company’s SMART App. The expansion project will be including 60,000 square feet of the company’s new, repetition of the SMART by the Design Gutter Connect Series which will be specifically modified for the mitigation of the threat of airborne hemp seed cross-pollinating with the cannabis crops.
