The vacuum plasma cleaner consists of a reaction chamber, a power supply and a vacuum pump set. The sample is placed in the reaction chamber, the vacuum pump starts pumping to a certain vacuum level, the power supply is activated and plasma is generated, the gas is then passed into the reaction chamber, turning the plasma in the chamber into reaction plasma, which reacts with the sample surface to produce volatile by-products and is pumped out by the vacuum pump.
