The IV type high-pressure hydrogen storage cylinder mainly consists of a plastic lining, metal joints, carbon fiber winding layer, outer protective layer, and sealing structure. The inner lining mainly serves as a gas seal and as a winding core mold, and basically does not bear loads. The main materials used abroad are high-density polyethylene (HDPE), nylon 6 (PA6), and the latest reported PET polyester plastic, which are generally prepared using rotary molding, blow molding, and injection molding processes.
