The new energy-saving DC arc furnace uses a controllable thyristor type static converter as the DC arc furnace power supply, which can convert the AC power supply to DC. By changing the conduction angle of the thyristor, the melting current can be continuously and smoothly controlled, and the large current does not Exceeds the allowable value of the device. The use of a three-phase full-bridge rectifier circuit enables the rectifier transformer to have many simple winding designs and a solid and reliable structure.
