Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) is a technology used to improve the energy efficiency of the evaporation process. In the MVR system, the compressor is used to recompress the steam to increase the temperature and pressure of the steam, thereby realizing the reuse of steam energy, reducing energy consumption and improving thermal efficiency.

The working principle of the MVR system is to use the recompression process to increase the pressure of low-pressure steam, turning it into high-temperature and high-pressure steam. This part of the steam is then exchanged with the unevaporated feed stream to increase the temperature of the feed stream and promote the evaporation process. . In this way, the MVR system can significantly reduce the energy consumption of the evaporation process and is suitable for processes that require large amounts of evaporation, such as salt crystallization, wastewater treatment, food concentration and other fields.
