High pressure ionization chamber (HPIC) is a radiation detector used for measuring and detecting ionizing radiation. It is an inflatable detector that operates under high pressure, typically within a range of several atmospheres, designed to detect various types of radiation, including ??? and ? Radiation. HPIC consists of a cylindrical metal chamber filled with high-pressure gases such as argon, neon, or helium. When ionizing radiation enters the ionization chamber, it ionizes gas molecules, forming a cluster of electrons and positively charged ions.
