An electro-fusion coupler is a specialized fitting used to join together two ends of polyethylene (PE) pipes in a secure and reliable manner. This type of coupler employs an electro-fusion welding process to create a strong bond between the pipes. The electro-fusion coupler is designed with embedded heating elements and conductive wires. When an electric current is applied to these elements using a compatible electro-fusion welding machine, it generates heat. This heat is used to melt the surfaces of the PE pipes and the coupler.
