It also includes PCBs, connectors and wiring harnesses, EMI shielding and thermal materials, and mechanical housings. Midstream Tier-1 suppliers and module makers handle hardware integration, embedded software and networking stacks (e.g., AUTOSAR), functional safety and cybersecurity development, vehicle calibration and validation, and coordination with domain controllers/central compute platforms to define routing and security policies. Downstream demand comes primarily from passenger and commercial vehicle OEM programs across ICE, hybrid, and battery-electric platforms.
