WGI Heavy Minerals, Incorporated engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, and operation of mineral properties. The company manufactures aftermarket ultra high pressure waterjet parts. Its primary product is industrial grade garnet.

The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Emerald Creek Garnet Ltd. (ECG), owns and operates the Emerald Creek mine. Garnet produced at its properties and purchased from Transworld Garnet India (Pvt.) Limited (TGI under the Distribution Agreement is marketed directly by ECG and two other wholly owned subsidiaries, WGI Heavy Minerals, an Idaho company, and Kominex Mineralmahlwerk Ermsleben GmbH, a German company (Kominex). Kominex also carries on the recycling of garnet and related products, coupled with the distribution of abrasive blasting materials, aftermarket ultra high pressure waterjet cutting machine replacement parts and other products. Another wholly owned subsidiary, International Waterjet Parts, Inc. (IWP), manufactures and sells aftermarket ultra high pressure waterjet cutting machine replacement parts.

Emerald Creek Mine – Idaho, U.S.A.

The Emerald Creek mine is a surface mine of approximately 299 acres, located along the St. Maries River basin and the Emerald Creek and Carpenter Creek basin in Benewah and Shoshone Counties, Idaho. The mine and mill are operated by ECG, whose interest in the mining area arises under six leases from private landowners.

WGI Heavy Minerals, Inc., Idaho (WGI Idaho)

WGI Idaho is a trading company of mineral products. It also owns Kominex, Emerald Creek Garnet and International Waterjet Parts. The company is located in the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. WGI Idaho administers the VVM supply agreement and is responsible for the administration, marketing, and sale of the products produced pursuant to the supply agreement.

Kominex

Kominex is a recycling and trading company for mineral products. The company is located in the federal state Sachsen-Anhalt in Central Germany. Kominex has an international sales & marketing office located in Rodermark/Frankfurt, an industrial metropolis in the south of Germany, and a wholly owned subsidiary, Kominex B.V in the Netherlands.

IWP

IWP manufactures aftermarket ultra high pressure replacement waterjet parts and is a wholesaler of other waterjet parts manufactured by other suppliers.
