Vena Resources Inc. engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Peru. The company primarily focuses on its Peruvian Azulcocha, Esquilache, Pucara, Sudamericana de Carbon (SDC) and uranium properties. Azulcocha Property: The Azulcocha project area comprises 24 concessions registered with the Peruvian Ministry of Mines and Energy.
Uranium Concessions: Vena controls 47,000 hectares of uranium properties in Peru through a 98% owned subsidiary Minergia S.A.C.
Pucara Project: The Company acquired a group of concessions in the Pucara area of southern Peru. The mineralization is mainly veins, including Santo Tomas and Esperanza; both outcrop for approximately two kilometers.
Granja Nueva Project: The Granja Nueva copper/gold mineral concessions totaling 2,800 hectares were acquired from the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Peru. Granja Nueva is an early stage exploration project in an area of northern Peru.
Coal Project: The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Sudamericana de Carbon S.A. (Sudamerica), focuses on the exploration, development and processing of anthracite coal in Peru.
Esquilache Project: The company has signed a joint venture agreement with Apex Silver adding the historical Esquilache underground silver mine (1,000 hectares) to the 24,000 hectare package already 100% owned by the company in Puno, Peru.
