On May 22, 2010, Ingersoll-Rand Plc has teamed with First American Commercial Bancorp, Inc. to create leasing options for security system installations at private K-12 institutions and colleges and universities.

On December 09, 2010, GE Intelligent Platforms, Inc. and Ingersoll-Rand Plc announced the signing of a cooperative agreement to develop an automation platform to meet the energy and operational efficiency needs of data centers.
