Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells ships, offshore structures, plants, and engines in South Korea and internationally. The company’s Shipbuilding division offers VLCCs, tankers, product carriers, and chemical tankers; containerships, and bulk and OBO carriers; Ro-Pax ships, Ro-Ro ships, and pure car carriers; LNG and LPG carriers; drillships; and submarines, destroyers, and frigates. Its Offshore and Engineering division provides floating units, such as FPSOs, FPUs, TLPs, and semi-submersible units; fixed platforms, including topsides, jackets and piles, jack-ups, modules, and quarters; subsea pipelines; and offshore installations. The company’s Industrial Plant & Engineering division offers power plants and process plants. Its Engine & Machinery division provides diesel marine engines; HiMSEN diesel engines; propellers and crankshafts; marine steam turbines and turbochargers; diesel and gas power plant engines; industrial and marine pumps; marine thrusters; industrial robots; and presses, conveyor systems, and steel strip process lines. The company’s Electro Electric Systems division offers generation, transmission, and distribution solutions, such as transformers, gas insulated switchgear, switchgear, circuit breakers, rotating machinery, power electronics, and control systems, as well as solar and wind power systems.
