Significant Events

On June 30, 2009, EXCO Resources Inc. announced that it has reached a definitive agreement with BG Group plc for the joint development and operation of EXCO's Haynesville shale and certain other related natural gas assets located in East Texas/North Louisiana. In addition, EXCO and BG Group have reached an agreement in principle regarding the joint development and operation of EXCO's midstream assets in East Texas/North Louisiana.

The company and EXCO Resources Inc. are jointly developing and operating EXCO's Haynesville shale and certain other related natural gas assets located in East Texas/North Louisiana, and EXCO's midstream assets in the same area.

In November 2009, Petroleo Brasileiro has formalized with the BG Group plc, the incorporation of a joint venture to develop the FEED (Front End Engineering and Design) aiming to build an onboard natural gas liquefaction unit (ONGU).

In March 2010, CNOOC Ltd. and BG Group PLC have signed a 20-year deal for the production in Australia and sale of liquefied natural gas.

In April 2010, BG Group plc and partners, Petroleo Brasileiro and Galp Energia SGPS SA have completed drilling a Tupi field appraisal well (3-RJS-666) in the BM-S-11 licence area, Santos Basin pre-salt, offshore Brazil.

In June 2010, Repsol YPF SA and its partners BG Group plc and Pan American Energy LLC signed an agreement to install a natural gas processing plant at the Margarita field in the Caipipendi Block in southern Bolivia.
