The downstream segment includes end users and application markets, such as hydrographic survey companies, offshore energy and marine engineering contractors, port and harbor authorities, defense and security organizations, scientific research institutions, and operators of underwater robots, where high-frequency sonar is widely used for seabed mapping, infrastructure inspection, navigation and obstacle avoidance, search and rescue, and underwater security.
