Road building industry of Russia in 2000-2010
The main aim of the research is to provide a complex analysis of the Russian road building industry development in 2000-2005, to estimate the volume of government road building industry financing for the period of 2006-2008 and till 2010, prospects of private capital formation, characteristics of a present normative basis in the sphere of road building economy and prospects if its changes. More over, in the research there were revealed and characterized the largest road-building companies of a federal level, Moscow and North-west regions. Also there were characterized the largest motor road construction and reconstruction projects, which are being carried out on the basis of state and private partnership.
In the research “Road building industry of Russia in 2000-2010” there were used the following informational sources:
• official documents of the Russian Government, the Ministry of transport, the Federal road agency, such as:
- “Transport strategy of the Russian Federation for the period until 2020”;
- “The Russian transport development strategy for the period until 2010”
- the subprogram “Motor roads” of a government target program “Modernization of the Russian transport system ( 2002-2010)”
- the subprogram “Transport services export development” of a government target program “Modernization of the Russian transport system ( 2002-2010)”;
- “The Russian road industry reformation concept”;
• acts of law, which are in force and are being worked out: “About concession agreements”, “About paid motor roads”, etc.
• interviews with officials of the Ministry of transport, the Federal road agency;
• mass media sources (the press, internet, federal and regional information agencies);
• data provided by companies (news release, information taken from web sites, annual and quarter reports);
In the research “Nonferrous metallurgy of Russia in 2006-2011” was used the data of official statistics for the period of 2006-2010, which had been published before the research was completed
