Because of the development of monolithic house-building and infrastructural construction, demand for ready-mixed concrete has essentially increased. At the same time more and more of building organizations prefer to purchase their own concrete mixing plants, instead of buying them from suppliers of concrete who have essentially increased their capacities in 2003-2006. The process of the market consolidation which has begun in 2006 caused activization of investment and marketing activity of the companies.

Active development of high-rise building construction in Moscow causes growth of demand for high-strength, modified concrete, that produce no more than 15 % of Moscow’s concrete-mixing units.

Within the limits of the research the specialists of Information Agency “ INFOLine” carried out a poll of ready-mixed concrete manufacturers, suppliers of concrete-mixing plants, and consumers.
